Lahore Qalandars batted and started very strongly. They scored 64 runs in the six overs without losing any wickets. The two openers, Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Naeem played well together. They helped Lahore Qalandars reach 50 runs in 5.2 overs. This showed that they were going to play
Fakhar Zaman played an innings. He scored 53 runs off 39 balls. Hit 10 boundaries. He and Mohammad Naeem made a 50-run partnership. This helped Lahore Qalandars get off to a start. The team scored 100 runs in 11.2 overs. Kept scoring steadily.
Even though Lahore Qalandars lost a wickets Parvez Hossain Emon and Haseebullah Khan played well and helped the team. Haseebullah scored 40 runs quickly. Helped the team a lot towards the end. Shaheen Shah Afridi also played well at the end. Helped Lahore Qalandars score a big total of 199/6 in 20 overs.
Hyderabad Kingsmen Struggle to Score Runs
Hyderabad Kingsmen had to score 200 runs to win.. They struggled from the start. They scored 48 runs in the first six overs and lost two important wickets. Usman Khan was given out after a review, which made things worse, for them.
Hyderabad Kingsmen never really recovered. They kept losing wickets. After 15 overs they had scored 101 runs and had lost 8 wickets. Another review went against them which made it even harder for them to win.
Even though they scored 100 runs in 14.3 overs they did not have any partnerships. This hurt their chances of winning. In the end they scored 130 runs and lost all their wickets in 20 overs.

Fakhar Zaman was named the player of the match. He scored 53 runs. Helped Lahore Qalandars win the game. His innings was very important for the teams victory. Lahore Qalandars played well and won the first game of the Pakistan Super League 2026.
